It’s now been a few days I’ve been hearing a lot about : “CRECHES”, “NOUNOUS” and Mummy going back to work in January.

I don’t have the faintest idea of what is a  “CRECHE” or a “NOUNOU” but all I know is that this morning Daddy took me to the Mairie and to lots of “CRECHES”.
Daddy told me to look poor/sad (*), cute & irresistible (**)!

Mummy promised me I would not have to be with a “NOUNOU”, as she has organized that Daddy (YES!) & Granny (YES! X2) take turns to stay with me, until I am old enough to go the bilingual “CRECHE†in the Marais with lots of British kids like me !

PERFECT ! cuz by the way Mummy was speaking about “NOUNOUSâ€Â,  I was starting to get really scared !

(*) POOR & SAD Face

(**) CUTE & IRRESISTIBLE Face

Nice and cosy in the blanket sent by Cousin Linda Maria …

It’s official I’m BRITISH !
Mummy, Granny & me went to get my British passport today !
Mummy was delighted.
Granny was so emotional.
Great Granny was with us in spirit.

Mummy & I had to go to fetch Marilou’s medecine, but when we finally decided to go out it was night time.

I kept my eyes wide open all the way to the pharmacy, looking at the lights and the shops.
I think I’m going to enjoy al this night activity !

But after a while I was so hot and cosy in my combi & hat that Granny bought me, I could not resist a little nap. I only woke up when Dad met us outside the Monoprix – that was a big suprise cuz I actually did not know you could actually meet people you already know outside !

At 7 weeks old I can :

  • Play little Indians
  • Hold my bottle
  • Put my fingers in my mouth
  • Watch television but Mummy won’t let me !
  • NEW : Grab my dummie
  • NEW : Have a full lengh conversation
  • NEW : Less scared in the bath

Playing with my soft Ganjayou …

Auntie is speaking, but all my parents want to hear is me 😉

I think I’m starting to love the concept of feet bathing !
All these people at my feet !

Auntie thinks I look like :

  • Granny Angela
  • Pépé Richard (My smile)
  • Cousin Eric (her son)
  • Cousin Leonard (Auntie Françoise’s son)
  • and obviously Mummy  – although Auntie cannot believe how much Mummy has changed now that she’s my Mummy.

This morning we raced to the train station to fetch Mummy’s Auntie Danièle.
Mummy lets me call her also Auntie – cuz it would be too complicated elsewise.
All you need to know is that she’s my Pépé’s sister.

Auntie recalled that last year they were 2 waiting for her at the train station, and this year we were 3 !
So I guess that’s me !

Since I was born Daddy is always singing to me this Beatles’ song :

So when Mummy decided to go out (for the first time on her own  – without me) leaving me alone with Daddy, I decided to treat Daddy and execute his order.

So I cried cried cried for 3 hours non-stop until Mummy came home.
I think Mummy was glad when daddy told her 😉
And even more when despite my eyes brimming with tears I smiled at her.

A glimpse of my morning routine … at 6 weeks …

I wake up at 8:00, sometimes by myself but recently I’ve been woken up by my cats Ganjayou & Shiva’s miaowing.
Daddy gets up and makes my bottle.
Mummy or Daddy changes me.
Daddy goes to work, leaving Mummy & me go back to bed.
I eat and then Mummy & I play little Indians, have a long baby talk, take some picture if the light is nice (like this morning)…
Mummy cuddles me back to sleep.
