My name is James Edgar Maximilian Gueneau …

James : cuz Mummy & Daddy wanted an English name, that could only be pronounced the English way. It also had to be a name of a poet & rock star.
This name was very quickly in the TOP 5. It also was the first guess for Granny, Pépé, Jenny and many friends… so it soon became the obvious first name.

One day Mummy & Granny were in the car (I was still in Mummy’s tummy) – Granny tested a few names and started with James. Mummy made a weird face – Granny was nearly convinced that she had guessed right, but Mummy managed to trick her into thinking of other names.

Granny thought for a very long time it would be Paul for Paul Mc Cartney – Daddy’s an absolute fan, and it’s a name of rock star & poet … Granny was on the right trck but she did not know that Paul’s real first name is JAMES 😉

Edgar : cuz Mummy & Daddy really really liked this one. And Sinsemila member Mike has nicked-named Daddy EDGAR and also because Mummy loved OSCAR and Daddy though it was a Fish name … so Let it be EDGAR.

Maximilian : cuz it’s always been in the SCHLEIPFER family : Pépé Richard, Arrière Pépé Maximilien …
but Mummy wanted to twist it a bit so its Maximilian with IAN so it sounds more British.

Gueneau : cuz huge debate between Mummy & Daddy on what name to take : Schleipfer-Gueneau, Gueneau-Schleipfer, Schleipfer, Gueneau … and finally Mummy gave in – because she loves Daddy and because I will always be a little SCHLEIPFER whatever anyone says !
