Archive for October, 2008

After our big  walk, Mummy had to give me my bath to wash away all the Parisian stress – as Granny is just like my Daddy – very very scared of my Fisher Price bathtub.

But then Granny dressed me all up – so I can be my handsome self again 😉

Mummy, Granny & Me were tourist today. Rue de Rivoli, Les Halles, Hotel de Ville, Quais …
Here are some pictures of our Paris by Day tour.

Thank you so much Auntie Juliett & Uncle George for my own first personal Bank Cheque !
It’s so cool, I feel so independant & important now that I have my own money 😉

Today we received my first TransAtalntic parcel …

It’s from the Canadian branch of the Calcutt / Avola / Van Meerbergen family …

..they sent me lots of Canadian goodies …

From ROOTS (my Daddy’s favorite Canadian store) YES !! GREAT !!

From beautiful & organic JOE  (I think Mummy is going to LOVE this store) YES !! YES !!  YES!!

Mummy & Daddy : I will now be expecting shortly Hockey lessons and a trip to Canada to meet the Avola Family 😉

and THANK YOU AGAIN Auntie Juliett & Uncle George and Cousins Linda Maria, Paul, Chantal, Erik, Kayle & Maeson !!

Here are some pictures we made on October 26, 2008 with Mummy & Granny.

Granny managed to get me in my cot for a few hours, despite my Mummy’s scepticism.

When I woke up, I felt replenished and ready for a little fitness exercice.
I think I like my cot – thanks Granny !

It’s been two days now that I have started to exercise my voice.
The first time was yesterday while Mummy was taking a shower and Daddy was sleeping.
Today Mummy managed to get one of my singing exercises on video.

Session 1

Session 2

Granny says I look just like my Mummy & Auntie Emma 😉
I think she’s crazy about me!

Now that Daddy has left I can tell Mummy all about Daddy’s recommendations :

1/ Listen to Mummy & Granny

2/ Don’t be a cry-baby only if Granny does not make me sleep in the cot !

3/ Be nice to me cuz like Granny says “the nicest little chap on earth” 😉
– I don’t know why he said that cuz I’m always NICE !

I just can’t tell you – sorry it’s a secret !

My Daddy is leaving for Brussels tonight, so I will see him for a whole week.
Daddy gave me some special recommendations before he left as I am staying with Mummy & Granny.

1/ Listen to Mummy & Granny
OK that is easy

2/ Don’t be a cry-baby
– Can I disobey if Granny wants me to sleep in my cot, when I just want Mummy’s arms ?

3/ Be nice
– I don’t know why he said that cuz I’m always NICE !

Ganjayou loves to assist me in my morning dutties : getting washed, changed, dressed 😉

Funny Faces

Today Mummy left me all alone with Daddy for the first time. So while Mummy was having fun with Virginie & Marilou, Daddy & me had a nice little nap together.
My Daddy took this photo cuz he was so proud of his blanket wrapping 😉

Gangsta Rap

YO! Don’t you dare touch my dummy or I’ll be really nasty!

Well actually I also love my Mummy but nobody will take any pictures of us ;(

As promised Mummy organized the first edition of “Le Gouter des Mamans”
(we could also call it a Only-Girls Tea Party where I’m allowed in).

Look our crazy paparazzis Mum who just can’t stop taking pictures.

Virginie’s mum asked my mum if we could babysit Marilou. We (Mummy & I) said YES YES YES !
My first playtime with Marilou we just could not refuse 😉
But once Virginie left, Marilou got all hyped out next to me and started pulling my T-shirt.
This is why I look a bit scared.

but once you get to know Marilou, you realize how cool she is.
She has lots of toys and already is a game expert.
I’m sure she will soon be teaching me all her tricks 😉

Today I was really grumpy, but Mummy wanted absolutely to get my passport & ID Card but we needed a photograph with NO SMILE & EYES WIDE OPEN.

Ok I can do that but exclusively when I’m in Mummy arms 😉

So it took a great deal of patience to Henry the photographer & Mummy to distract me for the perfect shot / consistent with official standards.

My Mummy & Daddy think I look like a convict on this photo.
I just want everybody to know that I DO like my picture taken,
just NOT when I feel grumpy and hungry !!

So after a quick bib at Henry’s, we went to the “Prefecture” – a weird French official place where it seems you always are missing a paper or something and where people – especially women – aren’t very helpful (that is Mummy talking, cuz frankly I would not know as it was my first time at the Prefecture).
After a long negotiation because the lady thought I was too small/young for an ID, Mummy finally managed to convincer her to give me an ID Card & Passport. So in 2 weeks I’ll be ready to become a worldwide traveler 😉 Hip Hip Hurray!!

More clothes! YES!!
Thank you to Cathy & José for my first snowing outfit – I hope Mummy & Daddy get the message : I WANT TO SEE SNOW!

Man in black ;)

Being this cool is very VERY tiring …

Mummy & I went to see Daddy so that I could have a new Music lesson.

One Two One Two
Testing the Mic

I’m Daddy’s sound producer apprentice

It’s a hard day’s work … I might need a little nap 😉

Granny thinks Mummy is not firm enough with me, and that I should sleep in my crib.

See I AM TRYING 😉
