Blurred reality

Walk like an Egyptian

Nice and cosy in the blanket sent by Cousin Linda Maria …

This morning it’s snowing. Daddy explained what snow was.
Mummy has already told me about Santa and the Reindeers … so it must mean that X-mas is on it’s way !

Our first family dinner party, and I was too cute to be true. No crying, I was perfect.
Marie-Anne & Thomas are expecting a little Rose or Cecile … so Mummy was showing all my cool stuff to Nametobedefined’s mum 😉

My cat Ganjayou loves to supervise everything I do : eating, getting changed, bathed, sleeping…
But all this supervision is very tiring.

Granny filming me and Daddy so Grand Mother Monique aka. Mouty can see her son (my Daddy) with me.

Mummy thinks I’m the coolest kid on the planet with my 2 passports.
Even my cat can’t believe it !

It’s thanks to my Granny’s perseverance and fighting power that my Mummy & I are British.
When Mummy was born only men could pass on the British citizenship. But Granny wrote to Margaret Thatcher – British Prime Minister at the time, to explain how much this was unfair and chauvinist.
A few months after sending her letter, Granny received a call from the British ambassador in Buenos Aires.
The ambassador told her that my Mummy’s and my Auntie Emma’s citizenship had been granted and that their passports were ready – and most important that it was very unusual and exceptional as it came directly from Home Office.

It’s only 27 years later, that Granny & Mummy understood the full extent of this event.

It has not only allowed Mummy to become British, but it has also guaranteed my citizenship too.

THANK YOU SO MUCH GRANNY !

It’s official I’m BRITISH !
Mummy, Granny & me went to get my British passport today !
Mummy was delighted.
Granny was so emotional.
Great Granny was with us in spirit.

A whole week without my Granny – James is not OK !
I missed Granny … and I’m delighted to see how much Granny missed me!

Mummy & I had to go to fetch Marilou’s medecine, but when we finally decided to go out it was night time.

I kept my eyes wide open all the way to the pharmacy, looking at the lights and the shops.
I think I’m going to enjoy al this night activity !

But after a while I was so hot and cosy in my combi & hat that Granny bought me, I could not resist a little nap. I only woke up when Dad met us outside the Monoprix – that was a big suprise cuz I actually did not know you could actually meet people you already know outside !

Photo addiction

Daddy’s Iphone                              vs                           Mummy’s Iphone

Since I was born Mummy & Daddy just won’t stop taking pictures of me. Sometimes I even wonder if Iphone is not a member of my family …

At 7 weeks old I can :

  • Play little Indians
  • Hold my bottle
  • Put my fingers in my mouth
  • Watch television but Mummy won’t let me !
  • NEW : Grab my dummie
  • NEW : Have a full lengh conversation
  • NEW : Less scared in the bath

Playing with my soft Ganjayou …

Auntie is speaking, but all my parents want to hear is me 😉

Auntie’s knitting

Who’s going to have a new scarf ?

Every morning, just after my milk, I like to have a nice long chat.
Today it was with Auntie.
