Today it’s Pépé Richard’s birthday, so Pépé Richard & Michèle came home for lunch & birthday cake.

But I think James the little supplanter 😉 has striked once again !
Look who’s the real star :

I think I’m starting to love the concept of feet bathing !
All these people at my feet !

Auntie thinks I look like :

  • Granny Angela
  • Pépé Richard (My smile)
  • Cousin Eric (her son)
  • Cousin Leonard (Auntie Françoise’s son)
  • and obviously Mummy  – although Auntie cannot believe how much Mummy has changed now that she’s my Mummy.

Auntie can’t believe how well I eat !

This morning we raced to the train station to fetch Mummy’s Auntie Danièle.
Mummy lets me call her also Auntie – cuz it would be too complicated elsewise.
All you need to know is that she’s my Pépé’s sister.

Auntie recalled that last year they were 2 waiting for her at the train station, and this year we were 3 !
So I guess that’s me !

Since I was born Daddy is always singing to me this Beatles’ song :

So when Mummy decided to go out (for the first time on her own  – without me) leaving me alone with Daddy, I decided to treat Daddy and execute his order.

So I cried cried cried for 3 hours non-stop until Mummy came home.
I think Mummy was glad when daddy told her 😉
And even more when despite my eyes brimming with tears I smiled at her.

A glimpse of my morning routine … at 6 weeks …

I wake up at 8:00, sometimes by myself but recently I’ve been woken up by my cats Ganjayou & Shiva’s miaowing.
Daddy gets up and makes my bottle.
Mummy or Daddy changes me.
Daddy goes to work, leaving Mummy & me go back to bed.
I eat and then Mummy & I play little Indians, have a long baby talk, take some picture if the light is nice (like this morning)…
Mummy cuddles me back to sleep.

PS : Granny I know my Mummy looks tired. Sorry but I’m starting to have nightmares, so I need night assistance !

At 6 weeks old I can :

  • Play little Indians
  • Hold my bottle
  • Put my fingers in my mouth
  • Watch television but Mummy won’t let me !

Today’s milestone : I can hold a bottle on my own !

OK Mummy cheated a bit, because I’m wrapped so tight in my blanket that the bottle stands on it’s own – but please don’t tell Mummy she’s so proud !

Today’s milestone (well actually it was yesterday’s) : I can play little indians with Mummy !

Monday Mummy showed me how little Indians speak.
Yesterday Mummy did it again, and I remembered how to play.
Today I smiled when Mummy started the “Boo hoo” sound & Daddy the copycat joined the game 😉

I’m really enjoying the little Indian game & Mummy is so proud !!

My Granny Angela is cool!
She loves me & my toys.

Mummy, Daddy, Granny & Me went for lunch and big walk in the Marais.
Granny found the first excuse to push the pushchair & me. (Mummy & Daddy should be together!)
Then Daddy wanted to have a turn …
I think mummy should sell Pushchair tickets, we could make a fortune !

I love getting all the attention.
Mummy & Granny helping me get dressed.
Daddy taking pictures.
This is heaven !

PS : Thanks again Alex for my first pair of Converse !

Today’s milestone : I have fingers!

This picture was taken by Daddy. Mummy had just made Daddy notice that I had discovered my fingers !

Today’s milestone : I discovered TV.
Daddy & I were having breakfast (Daddy : cookies & juice, Me : milk in bottle).
Daddy wanted to listen to some music, so turned on “What they call” television.
Mummy (who was not in the room) requested a “What they call” channel change, cuz she did not want me listening to Diams – which she does not consider as great music.
So Daddy executed a channel change and …
… suddenly I heard a guy called Yannick Noah and I turned to see what that sound looked like.
In that instant I knew something new was in front of my eyes : sounds, colours, pictures in motion (vs Le Boulch’s painting which I still love , but never moves) …
Ok Now I get it !!
so this is what Mummy was watching when I was in her tummy : it’s television.

Who do you think I look like ? A bit of both … don’t you think so?

Today we received the confirmation that my stem cells are now safe & sound and are now frozen with …
I wonder who is my DNA storage neighbour ….

Thank you Mummy & Daddy (and Granny for reminding the parents)
I now have as every English man should have a strong umbrella over my head : my life JOKER DNA.
