Archive for December, 2008

My Auntie Emma is lucky, her birthday is just after Christmas. So we had a birthday lunch with cake & champagne. I did not get any – Boo Hoo !

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but my mum is all about the 70’s.
The last month she has spent numerous hours trying to fing me her childhood toys.
This morning we received the Happy Apple from Fisher Price – cuz Mummy’s one is either lost or God only knows where.

When Mummy opened the parcel and took the Apple in her hands, she told Daddy & I all about her memories of when she was little. How she used to through this Apple around her room to break it open and discover the shape and form of the mysterious chime contained in the Apple.

This morning I received a letter from my Grand parents in Paimpol.
Daddy said that the money would go into my bank account for when I’m older 😉

I’m so impatient to see my Mouty & Peupeu in January.

Christmas Aftermath

After the Christmas chaos, I was so tired I slept for the first time
from 12am to 9am !!

Once upon a time (that’s one year ago) Mummy & Daddy went to the Moulin Rouge.
And then a miracle happened.

A few days later Mummy was calling Granny with the memory of a weird dream with Great Grand Parent Leslie & Agnes Calcutt coming for Christmas for a special reason.

A few days later more, Mummy discovered what that special message was.

Little James was on his way !

No flash please !

Mummy got a new camera – but does not know how to operate it.
And unfortunately I am the testing guinea-pig !
So this are the first 2 pictures taken with this camera.
I’m scared !

After a very long day I can now enjoy a little drink at my own private piano bar.
This is Daddy showing me how to play.

With a little champagne it could be even better – even if Daddy & I don’t drink any 😉

I could actually make money like this …

My funny spider is the first thing I decided to grab and hold on Christmas day !

All this gift unwrapping was too much ! I’m starving.
Fortunately Auntie Emma is here to feed me !

Thank you Father Christmas for :

A few weeks ago I gave the idea to Mummy to get something special for my beloved Granny Angela & Auntie Emma…

And Granny gave me luck with a silver coin – one of Great Grand Mother Dewis’ traditions.

Now that I’ve got my baseball cap & t-shirt, all I need is to learn baseball.
That will be Uncle Rob’s job !

Father Christmas left for Daddy & me Ukuleles ! I think we should start a band !

Mummy can do the backing vocals (or maybe not!)

Daddy was assigned by Mummy to be start unwrapping  …

… A little xylophone to play with Daddy in the bathtub !

Father Christmas has gone wild!
I have so many presents to open that I’m going to need a lot of help !

As soon as I opened my eyes, Mummy, Daddy & Granny were greating me with smiles and kisses – they all seemed very excited
Mummy and I then got ready and just as we entered the living room …

This a non official first Christmas present cuz it’s not yet Christmas morning, but Granny wanted so much for me to open it now ! So Mummy helped with the opening.
Thank you Granny for my bilingual Noddy !

This was a very emotional moment, but Daddy messed up and realized at the end that he had just started to record it.

Thank you so muh Auntie Emma & Uncle Rob for my very own Christmas decoration which I will surely keep with me forever !

I even got my own Christmas cracker !

Everybody seemed to enjoy the cracking …

Except for me !

I just love how my Auntie Emma speaks to me. No baby talk cuz Look who’s talking? only very adult and mature talking.

OK so it’s Christmas time.
Today is Christmas Eve and guess what all my family is coming to see ME.

So first : here comes Granny, who I had not seen in a few days. She looks realy glad to see me, and I’m really glad to see my Granny !
