Today’s milestone : I have fingers!

This picture was taken by Daddy. Mummy had just made Daddy notice that I had discovered my fingers !

Today’s milestone : I discovered TV.
Daddy & I were having breakfast (Daddy : cookies & juice, Me : milk in bottle).
Daddy wanted to listen to some music, so turned on “What they call” television.
Mummy (who was not in the room) requested a “What they call” channel change, cuz she did not want me listening to Diams – which she does not consider as great music.
So Daddy executed a channel change and …
… suddenly I heard a guy called Yannick Noah and I turned to see what that sound looked like.
In that instant I knew something new was in front of my eyes : sounds, colours, pictures in motion (vs Le Boulch’s painting which I still love , but never moves) …
Ok Now I get it !!
so this is what Mummy was watching when I was in her tummy : it’s television.

Who do you think I look like ? A bit of both … don’t you think so?

Today we received the confirmation that my stem cells are now safe & sound and are now frozen with …
I wonder who is my DNA storage neighbour ….

Thank you Mummy & Daddy (and Granny for reminding the parents)
I now have as every English man should have a strong umbrella over my head : my life JOKER DNA.

Yesterday Mummy went to the fabulous bookstore “L’Arbre à  Lettres” to get me lots of storybooks …
Mummy is such a very good storyteller that I l baby talk and smile while she is reading … but unfortunately I seem to fall asleep before the end of the story. Sorry Mum but I just can’t help myself !!

I love when Mummy gets me dress. She’s always making funny faces and weird noises, just to make me laugh.

First time out ever with my Reebok Sneakers !
Big Up Auntie Emma !!

Little Marc Kevin is still very intrigued by

  • my age (I’m 0 years old – he just can’t get over it)
  • my size (I’m so tiny)
  • my stuff (he’s scared of my Big Bad Wolf teady … boo hoo)

… and now he thinks I’m … wrll just look it’s SO funny !

Playing

Today I’m in great shape and really feel like talking, smiling, playing …

Where is James?

Vintage rocks

Mummy just loves her Sesame Street blanket and preferred taking pictures of the blanket instead of pictures of me…. Boo Hoo

After a dreadful morning at the doctor’s, Mummy & I came back home. I was so glad, I spent all afternoon experimenting new sounds with my voice.
I’m now an expert in the ‘Aaaaa’ expiring sound, and a newbie at the ‘A!’ inspiring sound.

This morning we had an appointment with the ultrasound doctor to see how beautiful my hips are.
Mummy was very emotional because last time she saw me from inside, I was inside her tummy.
I was very emotional because I really hate being in weird places with strange doctors.

Aren’t I the coolest kid on the planet?
At 5 weeks old I’ve got my own French ID Card & Passport and in the process of getting my British Passport.

I’m not quite sure I’m going to love having my 21 days old picture on my Passports for the next 10 years 😉

Since I was born, we practically never use my pushchair.
Why? Well because Mummy won’t carry my beautiful pushchair Bugaboo Bee  down and up 4 floors… That’s really not a nice Mummy !!
Every day Granny asks if we can use the pushchair …
and every day Mummy replies that she wants to wait until we have a pushchair garage
and every day she calls Dominique the restaurant owner who promised to do the job, to ask when it will be done

TODAY … no pushchair garage … but sympathetic Granny carried my pushchair down so I finally could have a ride on it.
To reward Granny, Mummy let her push me all around Bastille and I just loved it.

PS : For the Rue de Lappe Readers :  Dominique the restaurant owner promised we should have our Pushchair Garage by Friday – so keep your fingers crossed.

Daddy tried to make me go to sleep.
NO WAY – I don’t want to sleep.
I WANT TO BABY TALK 😉 Aeuuuu Aeeeeuuu

So this morning …
I was very tired and finally went to sleep …
and Daddy was also very tired but went to work !
Sorry Daddy 😉

Obama has just been elected and I’m just 5 weeks old.
One day I will be asking my parents where we were when we first knew Obama was the new United States president …
Daddy was feeding me in the living room.
Mummy was listening to the radio in bed.
The world had changed without us noticing…

Mummy is always singing to me that “I’m on a superstar, You’re a superstar … That’s what you are!”, but sadly enough she forgot to make a Press release for my arrival (boo hoo!).

Fortunately I have a SUPER PR Tata Jenny, who loves me so much that she proudly sent my picture to the Paimpol Newspaper “La Presse d’Armor” !!

Do you know this music ? This is what my Mummy starting singing to me when Granny confirmed she has found the famous paper we were missing yesterday…

We then got dressed and went to visit Dr Sala to get his countersignature on my Passport photo.
This is me in the waiting room – I’m wearing a Combi which is for too big for me – cuz Mummy was late and had no time to dress me up ( boo hoo).

So we waited for Granny to arrive, and went back to the British Embassy to get my British registration finalized.

To make it perfect Granny gave me some milk in the Embassy – so I officially drunk my first tea in England ;).
Thanks Granny and THANK YOU for fighting for our right to become British (Mummy, Emma & me now).
